February/March 2008 Newsletter

THANK YOU to everyone who sent us their birthday for our birthday list!  We would like to say Happy Belated Birthday to our January birthday people: Andrea Laughlin Jan 7, Taylor Barnes Jan 1 and to our February birthday people: Emma Eccles Feb 23, Milla Petuskey Feb 8, and Susan Hamilton Feb 17.  And Happy Birthday to our March birthday people: Danielle Dexter March 28, Kelsey McGrath March 30, and Jessica Fulcher March 31.  

GOOD LUCK to Lori, Daisy, Mia and Epona at the Jumper Play Day this weekend at the Santa Ynez Valley Equestrian Center.  If you would like to help out at the Jumper Play Day please let Lori know or email us at info@raintreeranch.com.  They are looking for volunteers.  Or you can come watch and cheer Lori and Mia on.   

Rachel Satory-Saavedra Dressage and Horsemanship Clinic in Paso Robles...March 14 - 16.  Susan Hamilton and Diana will be attending this clinic thanks to the California Dressage Society Santa Barbara Chapter who is sponsoring their position in the clinic.  And thanks to Lori for getting Susan and Diana sponsored by the Santa Barbara CDS.  Auditors are welcome to come to the clinic to watch for free.  The clinic will be held at Golden Hills Farm.  It should be great!  

CDS Santa Barbara Dressage Show at Earl Warren Showgrounds...April 5 - 6.  They are looking for volunteers for both days 8am-5pm.  Half day helpers are welcome.  Looking for scribes, ring stewards, runners and scorers.  Come learn about shows and dressage and watch some beautiful horses perform.  Please email us at info@raintreeranch.com or let Lori or Susan Hamilton know if you would like to volunteer.  Also more information about entering the show will be posted under the "Events" page of our website.
